Terms & Conditions
Last updated: January 2026
These terms govern the supply of products and services by Taylormade Facades Ltd (Company No. 04825909), registered office Gasworks Road, Aberaman, Aberdare CF44 6RS ("we," "us," "our"). By placing an order with us, the customer ("you," "your") agrees to be bound by these terms, which take precedence over any terms proposed by you unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
1. Orders & Formation of Contract
All quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. A contract is formed only when we issue written order confirmation. No order is binding on us until confirmed in writing, even where a deposit has been received.
2. Specifications & Tolerances
Profiles are manufactured to the drawings, dimensions and specifications confirmed at order stage. Due to the manufacturing processes used, product dimensions are subject to a tolerance of +/- 2mm. It is your responsibility to check and approve all drawings, dimensions and quantities before manufacture begins — we are not liable for errors in specifications supplied or approved by you.
3. Technical Drawings & Design Responsibility
Where we produce manufacturing or coordination drawings, these are prepared to translate architectural or structural information supplied by you into a manufacturable profile schedule. We do not provide structural, architectural, or building-regulations design services, and our drawings do not constitute a design approval. You (or your appointed architect, structural engineer, or main contractor) remain responsible for reviewing, approving, and obtaining any necessary Building Control or third-party sign-off for all drawings prior to manufacture. Manufacture will not commence until we have received your written approval of the relevant drawing. We accept no liability for design defects, non-compliance, or performance issues arising from information, dimensions, or design intent supplied or approved by you.
4. Pricing & Payment
Prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. A deposit of 50% of the order value is required to secure your manufacturing slot. The balance is due prior to despatch unless alternative payment terms have been agreed in writing. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue balances at the rate applicable under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
5. Retention of Title
Ownership of goods remains with Taylormade Facades Ltd until payment in full has been received and cleared. Until title passes, you must store goods separately, keep them insured, and not resell or install them without our written consent. If payment is overdue, we reserve the right to enter your premises to recover unpaid goods.
6. Lead Times & Delivery
Lead times quoted are indicative and subject to our current order book. We will notify you of any change to a confirmed delivery date as soon as reasonably possible. Time of delivery is not of the essence unless expressly agreed in writing. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Suitable access and offloading facilities must be provided — additional charges may apply for failed deliveries or redelivery caused by site access issues.
7. Cancellation & Variation
Because profiles are manufactured to your specific order, cancellation once manufacture has commenced may not be possible, or may be subject to a charge reflecting materials, labour and manufacturing time already committed. Requests to vary an order after confirmation may affect price and lead time and must be agreed in writing.
8. Returns & Defects
Profiles manufactured to bespoke drawings cannot be returned for convenience and are not "off the shelf" goods. Any claim for damaged, defective or incorrect goods must be notified within 5 working days of delivery, with supporting evidence (e.g. photographs). We warrant that products will be free from manufacturing defects for 12 months from the date of delivery, excluding damage caused by incorrect handling, storage, installation, or normal weathering.
9. Installation Services
Where installation is carried out by Taylormade Facades Ltd, this is subject to a separate site agreement covering access, sequencing and site conditions. Where products are supplied for installation by others, we are not responsible for the quality or method of installation, or for any resulting defects arising from installation.
10. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, our total liability arising from any order is limited to the value of that order, and we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of contract, or programme delay costs.
11. Intellectual Property
Drawings, specifications and designs supplied by you remain your property. We retain ownership of any manufacturing drawings, tooling designs or production methods we develop in fulfilling your order, and these may not be used or reproduced without our written consent.
12. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including material shortages, extreme weather, or transport disruption.
13. Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
