A new classical house in Virginia Water, Surrey, built by a developer for sale. Taylormade made every architectural moulding on the house in our Aberdare factory and our team fitted them. The render was by others.
The mouldings include the eaves cornice, a central pediment with raking cornices and an oculus, pilaster capitals, rusticated pilasters and quoins, the portico, window surrounds, keystones, cills, dormer cornices, the door surround and the carport fascia.
Taylormade’s Scope
- Manufacture and installation of all architectural mouldings.
- Portico: balcony cornice, frieze, square columns with bases and capitals, and wall pilasters.

How We Delivered It
One Firm for Every Moulding
Every profile was CNC hot-wire cut from the architect's drawings. The arched window surround was cut to the window's radius and the oculus was made in four segments.
With one firm supplying and fitting every moulding, the lines, joints and finish match from the portico to the dormers.
The Completed Result
A clean white classical front with crisp rustication and deep shadow lines, the kind of detail a spec build needs in a premium market.
