For this bespoke garden pavilion at a private residence, Taylormade Facades manufactured, supplied, installed and applied the final decorative finish to the complete architectural mouldings package. Produced at Taylormade’s Aberdare factory from the architect’s drawings, the decorative, non-structural columns, cornice and entablature form one balanced classical design.

Challenge, Coordination and Result
The Architectural Challenge
The principal challenge was making sure every element aligned correctly, so the columns, cornice and entablature formed one balanced classical design.
Coordinating the Mouldings with the Structure
Taylormade designed the pavilion’s structural steel frame, which was fabricated by a specialist steel manufacturer, and coordinated it with the builder through to installation. Taylormade also manufactured the lightweight elements of the roof, with the roof covering and membrane completed by specialist roofing contractors. The columns, cornice and entablature were manufactured bespoke in Aberdare and installed and finished by Taylormade.
